Special Music for Summer

Are you interested in singing a solo, or in a group, play an instrument, hum a tune or something else? If so, we have an opportunity for you! Special music is wanted for the summer to enrich our worship. There is a signup sheet in the Gathering Space along with a note about who the accompanist is for that Sunday. Have fun with your selection and remember ALL GODS PEOPLE HAVE A PLACE IN THE CHOIR!

The movie will begin at 6 pm. Popcorn and refreshments will be for sale to support the Manitowoc County Historical Society's youth programs. There is no cost to attend the movie but donations are appreciated for the Society's Education Fund. There will be limited bench and chair seating inside the Nennig Dance Pavilion for the movie but we encourage guests to bring a blanket and pillow to enjoy the film from the Pavilion's center floor.

Coco tells the story of Miguel, a young boy whose desire to discover and follow his great-great-grandfather’s legacy takes him on a colorful journey through the Land of the Dead. In this vibrant world, he meets many members of his family tree who long to return to the world of the living on Día de los Muertos (or Day of the Dead) to visit the loved ones they left behind. But here’s the catch—they can only do that if one of their living relatives still remembers them.

Please tune into WOMT, WGBA, or WBAY for ALL cancelations…Faith Lutheran will follow the Valders Public School District’s policy regarding closings, cancellations, etc. SO...If schools are closed…FAITH LUTHERAN is closed (church & office) no activities, worship, etc. If they dismiss classes early or cancel after school activities, FLC also cancels evening activities BUT MAY NOT CANCEL WORSHIP. No need to wonder, no need to get all bundled up.  Simply put- stay put!  What about Sundays?  If the worship service needs to be cancelled due to inclement weather, it will be announced ASAP.

Faith's Food Pantry is open the 3rd Saturday of the month from 9:00-10:00 a.m. serving people within a 10 mile radius of Valders. If you are in need, please stop in and we can help you.
