Pastor Erica Cunningham

Pastor Erica joined our staff in January, 2013. Her primary passions for ministry include education, worship and preaching. She has a great love and appreciation for the church and God’s people. She graduated from Wartburg Seminary in Dubuque, IA in May 2012. Pastor Erica did her internship at Settlement Lutheran Church, a rural congregation in Gowen, MI. 

Pastor Erica grew up in Davenport, IA where most of her family still lives.  She attended Augustana College in Rock Island where she majored in music performance (voice, piano, and organ).  She lived in the Netherlands for a year, where she helped her aunt care for her two small children, and she has worked in early childhood education, teaching children from birth to age 5.

 

Pastor Erica loves music and served as choir director in her home congregation, working with children’s, youth, adult and handbell choirs.  Although she’s not played the organ for several years, she still enjoys good organ music and the rich hymnody of the Lutheran Church.
