These are exciting times for us as the people of God in Faith Lutheran Church! 

A great deal of energy and effort has been devoted to engage you in helping us

explore and discover what God is up to in our midst.  We've learned that there is much ministry that needs doing, not just for our congregation but for the community in which we live. 

 

is all about giving our ministry the capacity to more fully live out our God-given mission: 

We are committed to Sharing God's Word, Showing God's Love and Serving God's World. 

It is a bold and life-giving effort to help us keep growing as individuals and an congregation.

The EXPERIENCE FAITH...Capital Appeal will makes it possible for us to:

  • add a full time pastor we've talked about for a year-and-a-half.  (Pastor Erica Cunningham joined our staff on January 1st!!)
  • address some of our building issues to include an elevator, an additional office, expanding the narthex, and adding a community meeting room -- all to provide additional space for our congregation's needs and more fully engage the community around us (That project is well underway!)
  • add a new organ for use beginning in October of 2012 (It's installed and enhancing our worship on Sundays!  A date will be soon be set for an Organ recital.)
  • install an outdoor digital sign and video/projection equipment to meet the current and
    future needs of the congregation. (The outdoor sign is up and there will be shrubs planted in the spring around the base.  The video equipment will begin getting installed during January.  Click here for video/projection information from November 2012 newsletter.)
  • A Facility Use Team has been establisted to explore and make decisions about the ways the new spaces in our building will be used and desired for furnishings and other needs. 
It is exciting to imagine the impact we can have as we move forward!
