Information for the First Time Visitor First Time Visitor for Worship? We'd love to have you join us for worship anytime! It's probably easiest to get into the building for worship from the Upper Parking Lot. You'll find entrances at both ends of the building that will take you to the worship space. Stop in the "Outer Narthex" - the area with all the windows - and be greeted by other people who have come to join together in praising our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. From there, make your way into the "Inner Narthex" where ushers will hand you a bulletin that will give you an outline of what the order of worship is, as well as descriptions of the other events around the congregation that week. To learn more about each of our unique services, click on the Worship Services tab under the About Us dropdown menu. While you're here it would be great if you'd sign the Freindship Pads that are passed around during the offering. It's a way for us to know you were here. If you're comfortable, include your address and phone number so we can be in contact with you. We promise not to hound you.
What About Children? We love to have children with us in worship! On Sundays we offer children's sermons. We always have bags of soft toys to keep the little one's busy and have children's bulletins for those who are a little older.
What's different on Wednesday Nights? Things are a little more laid back and informal on Wednesday nights. You'll find bulletins on the table in the Narthex. There's a Friendship Pad lying on the offering box on that same table.
What About Communion? The Sacrament of Holy Communion is offered on the first, third and fifth Sundays and Wednesdays of the month. All baptized Christians are welcome to join us in receiving our Lord's body and blood so feel free to participate! It is our stance that it is not our table, but it is the Lord's Table so, please, join us in the foretaste of the feast to come.
Join Us for Fellowship Events too! We'd also like to invite you to come to any of the events you see described in our webpages or newsletter or bulletins. Just come and join in! For fellowship events you might find it easiest to enter the building from the Lower Parking Lot and through the entrance in the middle of the building. |
