Group members provide at each gathering…
† A welcoming atmosphere
† A commitment of time and support
† Participation and confidentiality
† Prayer and/or devotional
† Renewal for self, others, and the church
If you'd like to be a part of any of these groups, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Would you enjoy good books and a chance to discuss them with others? The Book Talk group might fill that spot. Join others that meet in members’ homes monthly to discuss a chosen book. Each member reads the book and participates in discussion. Books range from current fiction, old classics, to nonfiction.
Nine and Dine
This small “sampler” group got going last summer to enjoy a round of golf, fellowship and good food. Playing courses around the area, this “come one, come all” group included couples, fathers and sons, and individuals. It was so much fun, the nine and diners plan to repeat for 2013, with an open invite to join.
The games played in this small group can vary depending on the number of players and the interest level. This group meets once a month on Saturday evenings during the winter.
All are welcome. Watch for upcoming events on the Home page.
Soup for the Soul
Prepare freezer meals and make fun crafts, small gifts or cards for those who are home bound, grieving, recovering from surgery, child birth or illness, or are in need of a warm meal and wishes. Members cook and craft, while offering prayers for those who will be fed. Many hands make light work, while enjoying friendship and fellowship. Once you try it, you’ll be back.
