High School

We have lots of ways for our high school youth to get involved in the ministry of Faith Lutheran Church! 

• Luther League is our high school youth group that meets the first Wednesday of every month from 7:15 - 8:30 pm in the youth room.  We do a variety of fun activities throughout the year, including scavenger hunts, games, highway clean-up, lefse-making, Christmas caroling and a variety show.  And of course, we have snacks and devotions at each meeting!  All 9-12th graders and their friends are invited to join us!
•  We also have high school small groups that meet once a month for more in-depth bible study and discussion. There are separate groups for guys and girls and each group decides together what they want their focus to be for the year.  It's a great way to get to know some of your peers in a small group setting.  If you are interested in joining a small group, please contact the church office or email:  faith21@tds.net for more information.  

NATIONAL YOUTH GATHERING 2012

High School Calendar of Events for 2012-2013

• October 7th at 10:15 a.m. - Highway Clean-up (meet at church).  Breakfast afterwards (bring $5.00)
• November 3rd Power of One concert - see below
• November 9-11 is SYG in Manitowoc, need to have registration to Bobbi Jo by Oct 3rd.  You can find the forms at East Central Synod of Wisconsin  or you can pick up forms at church
• ALL STUDENTS IN GRADES 9-12: We are attending a Power of One concert. This is a great opportunity for you to meet the requirement for confirmation youth gathering.
  What: Power of One Seminar and Concert
  When & Where: Saturday, November 3rd at the Kimberly High School
  Time: Meet at church at 11 am. Arrive back to church at Midnight
  Cost is $15 plus need money for supper (church will pay the rest of the cost)
  Need to sign up by calling Bobbi Jo 758-2113 or 901-7406 by Sunday, October 14.
  You may invite a friend. The cost would be $24 plus money for supper.
  
• December 12th. The Luther League will go caroling on Wednesday, December 12.  Meet in the lower parking lot at 6:20 p.m.  Snacks and refreshments will be served when we return.

• February 16-17, 2013 is the date for the JYG.  Deadline for applications is January 25, 2013.  This is at the Holiday  Inn in Neenah.  Grades 6,7,8 are invited to attend.  Cost is $80.00 each child. 

 

SPECIAL CHRISTMAS SERVICE 

Wednesday, December 19th, 2012 at 6:15 p.m. the 

Praise Team conducted a Christmas Live Nativity Service.

We witnessed the wonder of the Live Nativity,a fresh telling of the Christmas story led by Faith’s youth,with music by the Praise Team.
